Allison Chen is a professional baker based out of NY.

(who went to french pastry school so you don't have to)

She started her content creation journey in 2022 where she decided to gap semester in college. She attended pastry school at École Ducasse, documenting all of her pastry creations and fought the internet constantly on the proper way to pronounce croissant.

After pastry school, she returned to college where she attempted various baking projects–– most notably selling cookies on a park bench in Washington Square Park, and running a tasting menu experience in her friend's college apartment. With her time spent baking, it's unclear if she was ever seen studying. Nevertheless, she somehow graduated from Duke University in 2024 and now is a full-time baker, recipe developer, and occasional croissant consumer.
